Angela Wingate-Burdon, Ohio, U.S.
Angela Wingate-Burdon is an independent curator and photographer. Taking a broad approach to exhibition making, she is particularly interested in the social history of art, focusing on the inclusion of marginalised communities and widening participation and engagement programming. In her artistic practice, she uses photography as a tool to reimagine black identity. She has recently completed a Master’s Degree in Curating at the University of Sunderland. She is currently based in Ohio, U.S.
Sheyda Aisha Khaymaz, Manchester. U.K.
Sheyda A. Khaymaz is a sculptor and curator based in Manchester, U.K. and Istanbul, Turkey. They hold a BA in Fine Art from Northumbria University, Newcastle and graduated with a Master's Degree in Curating from the University of Sunderland. Both their artistic and curatorial practices are primarily concerned with the production of knowledge and examining the dominant power structures within contemporary culture through epistemology. Khaymaz's current research interests include postcolonial theory, social justice, ethics and politics of curating.
